Vida Verde is a 5-acre small scale organic vegetable farm located in the North Valley of Albuquerque, just 15 minutes from downtown and the heart of the city. For the past 4 years we have focused on supplying food to the local co-ops and selling to local restaurants in Albuquerque as well as at several weekly farmers’ markets. With an incredible long growing season with around 200 frost-free days a year, we are able to grow for 3 full seasons without the use of hoop or greenhouses, starting in early March and ending in late November/early December. We plant a large variety of gourmet vegetables, offering well over 75 types of heirloom, heritage and organic tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, lettuce, carrots, beets, garlic, onions, winter squash and pumpkins, and so much more.
